I just bought a new computer with XP yesterday. Everything had been great, but when I came on this morning all the games are gone. The games that came with XP like Solitaire and Hearts... I have no clue what happened but didn't even have a chance to check some of them out yet!
Any help would be great, thanks!

Might need your Windows XP setup CD-ROM when doing this.

Follow this path:

3. Press Add/Remove Windows Components (left column
button)
4. [x] Accessories and Utilities (Hilite & Press
[Details])
5. [x] Games (highlight & Press [Details] button)
6. Make desired changes...
7. Press [OK] (out of Games)
8. Press [OK] (out of Accessories and Utilities)
9. Press [NEXT >>] (Windows Components Wizard opens)
10. Configuring Components window appears
11. Components Wizard window
12. Press [Finish] button
------------------------
download the updated Direct X from the Microsoft website.
