cannot find computers on network

In my network places, I cannot view any computers, including my own. On the
other computer I see both and can access files as well. What is wrong has
baffilled me? It was working at one time. I've shut down any programs I
thought might affect it as well as to disable firewalls etc. Nothing works.
Help?

You have either a NetBT setting, or a personal firewall, problem.

You could diagnose the problem, using logs from "browstat status", "ipconfig
/all", "net config server", and "net config workstation", from each computer.
