Assuming your Default User profile is intact, log in with the account that
needs the Accessories folder (that folder is installed on a per-user basis).

At a cmd prompt:

md "%userprofile%\start menu\programs\accessories"

xcopy "%userprofile%\..\default user\start menu\programs\accessories\*"
"%userprofile%\start menu\programs\accessories" -e

This is an admin. account. I think I accident deleted the Accessories folder
I guess. Would you show me how to reinstall or extract the file of the
"Accessories folder" from the CD of W2k? Or do I have to reinstall the OS
again?

thx.

Did you try what I suggested below? If you deleted, say, C:\Documents and
Settings\Administrator\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories, you should be able
to copy C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Start
Menu\Programs\Accessories to the former location. That's what my
instructions below do.

I don't think you can reinstall the Accessories folder from the Windows 2000
CD. If none of the accounts on your computer have the Accessories folder,
the next easy thing to do would be to copy the folder from some other
computer. It's small enough to fit on a floppy disk, if necessary.
