I failed to access the firewall on my dial-up MSN
connection. I follow Microsoft's instruction to activate
the firewall.
Start>Control Panel>Networking and Internet
Connections>Network Connections. Next when I clicked on
the properties in order to get to the "advanced" Tab,
nothing happened, no additional menus.
What can I do? Help please!

BTW, if I downloaded the patch to a disk from other
computer, can I install the patch on my Windows XP without
setting up the firewall?
Thanks,

Jerry

Don't know anything about MSN, but I don't really like the XP firewall much,
so try www.sygate.com

Re other PC, using a CD or disk - yes, but you need a firewall there, too.
All computers need firewalls, antivirus, and regular patching.
