All patches up to date
I recently removed the file extension for XLS, then restored it manually.
Although Excel works fine now I cannot edit the file extension actions for
XLS. I can remove actions and change the default, but that's it. The Edit
button is not grayed out, it just does not work.
I restored the actions by copying data from my registry that existed for the
file extension XLB which also uses Excel Spreadsheet. This is probably where
I went wrong.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to correct this non-critical, but
very annoying problem?
