Cannot edit labels in my pie chart

This is my 1st attempt to use a chart in Access. I have a pie chart with 7
values (i..e home, hospital, community, etc..) When I look at it in design
view, it only shows 3 values - north, south, east (the standard sample
values, I suppose), so I can't move my data labels around.

The only option I've found is Format --> Selected Data Labels, but it still
doesn't give me the control I have in Excel. Is there any way to do this
manually?

To show your data in design view:
-view the Row Source property in the query designer
-switch to datasheet view
-select and copy all records to your clipboard
-close the Row Source query designer
-double-click to open the chart designer
-view the datasheet in the chart control
-select the records in the chart control datasheet
-paste your row source records into the datasheet

This should update your chart control for design view.

Thanks for responding, but I confess I'm lost at step 1 (view the Row Source
property in the query designer).

Got it now... I was thinking record source and looking at the properties for
the report instead of the chart. Thanks for your help.
