I have recently had my work PC upgraded from NT to XP. Ever since the upgrade
I have not been able to download or open ANY files from either my company's
local intranet, or the internet. Each time I try I receive the error message
'Cannot download file from xxxxxxx site.'
I have checked my settings in Internet Options, and File Download is enabled
for intranet and internet. Because I am using a work PC I cannot do a system
restore or alter the registry settings at all. Our inhouse IT department
won't support this kind of query so I'm really at a loss.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
