Cannot download large messages from IMAP

I use Outlook 2002 to download my emails from IMAP server.
I can download all the headers but I cannot download the
body of the emails with large attachments (anything larger
than 100KB).
Plz let me know if anyone else has come across this
problem and any possible resolution to the same.
