When I try to download the software from Microsoft drm website, it brings up
a page with an update button i cannot click. On another computer it was fine.
How can i get it to work for me? Thanks, Kizzers

Hi Kizzers,

First, Do you have a legitimate copy of Windows? The people who supplied you
your puter should have included a CD with you windows searial number that
should match your OS license. If not contact your compuer supplier for a
licensed copy of your version of windows to be installed on your puter.
(I am only guessing about the above... this may not be the reason you cannot
use the update button, but its the fist thing that comes to mind. The button
should appear blured if it has been disabled if you don't have a legitimate
license)

Second, ensure that you have scripting enabled for the site. This can be
best be done by navigating to the site then clicking the security icon on the
status bar to display the security settings for the site. Just add the
Windows Update site to your trusted Zone.

There should however be a message when you go to this site indicating
whether or not you have scripting enabled in your browser. Perhaps you missed
it?

Regards.

Hello. I have the exact same problem as well. I tried the offered
solutions without success. In addition, the bottom left of the screen
indicates "Error on page". When I click this, the error message shown is
"parameter is invalid" Code: 0. Does anyone have any ideas what else to do?
Thank you for any help.
