Help!!!

I'm running IE6.0 SP1 on Win98 via a network (Win2K)
shared DSL connection (100BaseT Ethernet switch). The DSL
connection is local to the Win2K machine and is shared via
TCP/IP gateway connection.

Emails (in Outlook Express) or webpages containing active
content (java or some kind of cookie based security
feature???) try to open but never get fully displayed.
The page is located, but only hypertext is displayed or
the page stays white if active content. What is incorrect
in my configuration

Check you Internet Options settings..

Start Internet Options by choosing Tools\Internet Options menu from IE.

Navigate to the Security Tab and click the Custom Level Button.

There you will see the settings for your ActiveX controls and scripting
behavior. You will probably have them set to 'Disable'.
If you are unsure about your settings or you can't access these settings you
should consult your System Administrator, they may have a policy of not
allowing these kinds of programs on their network. (Unix or Linux geeks).
