Cannot delete "x.avi" Unable to find specified file

When I try to delete a video file, i press delete and
nothign happens. When I try to felete the folder it is
in, i get the following message

Cannot delete "x.avi" Unable to find specified file

It's like the file doesn't exist, yet i can see it when
I'm browsing through my computer

Any help would be appreciated.

"Go to Start/Run/CMD and type in: regsvr32 /u shmedia.dll
(To re-enable it: regsvr32 shmedia.dll)
And/or run this edit, then try to delete it.
