cannot delete temporary internet files...

I am running IE6 on Windows XP Home. Lately, I cannot
empty the temporary internet files via IE itself, nor can
I open the folder from windows to manually delete files.
Also I cannot launch the iesetup.exe program. In all
cases, the application stops responding and I have to kill
it via the Task Manager. Any idea?

Why would you need to run iesetup.exe?
What version of IE are your running?
