Cannot Delete Photos From CD

I have copied some pictures from my hard drive to a CD. For some reason, a
folder of unrelated pictures also copied onto the CD. When I try to delete
or move the folder, it says that it cannot be deleted because it is a read-me
file. How do I remove these photos?

You cannot actually delete them. However, you may remove the file names
from the folder if the software that you used to copy the files closed the
disk properly.

Otherwise, you are stuck with downloading the files you want off the cd,
copying these files to a new cd, and destroying the old cd.
