I recently installed a larger hard drive but cannot assing it to D: because
there's a phantom CDROM drive D: in Win Explorer. However, it does not show
up in Dev Manager or in Disk Management so I cannot get rid of the entry.
Therefore my new drive is registering as E: and none of my shortcuts that use
D: are functioning.
How can I get rid of the phantom CDROM drive and free up the drive letter
D:, which the old hard drive used?
Thanks,
