Cannot delete messages

When deleting my junk mail it stopped and I got 'An error has been
encountered' window. the mail message states 'Windows Mail encountered an
unexpected problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low
memory or low disk space and try again'.
I have tried all usual wethods but cannot remove these remaining emails.
I also seem to be creating a 'Recovered Messages' folders every time I close
the programme.
Any suggestions?

Try Windows Live Mail:

It will automatically import all your Windows Mail email and settings.
 
Ken,

I suggest you go to

www.oehelp.com/wmutil

and download Steve's utility. Then use the utility (after unzipping the
file) to compact your e-mail and the problem goes away. Plus I compact my
e-mail every time the dialog box appears.

It worked for me and hopefully will work for you.
