Cannot delete folder

I recently created a folder, "2006" using Explore. Something went wrong, and
now I cannot put anything in that folder, nor delete it, nor move it, nor
drag and drop it to the recycle bin.
Worst of all, when I try to back up my data, the "copy" trips up at that
point, says it cannot copy this folder, and stops. So nothing beyond that
point gets copied.
I'm using Windows Media Edition 2005.
Thanks,

How do I post to those news groups?

I hope Will won't mind my popping in and giving you my basic Usenet
blurb:

Since you are using the web interface, you may not realize that this is
really a newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you
learn to use a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows,
but you can use Outlook Express since you already have it. Here are
