Cannot delete files

I removed some programs that I download from my computer
via the control panel remove or add program icon. the
program were removed but I still have icon and files that
pertain to this progrma nad am sonstantly getting this
error when I try to delet them "Cannot delete file:
Cannot read from the source file or disk" Could someone
help me and direct me on how to delete these files.

Try booting into safe mode and deleting from there.
