cannot delete files

I have several files that I cannot seem to delete. When I
try to drag them into the recycle bin, I get the following
error: Cannot delete con: Cannot find the specified
file. Make sure you specify the correct path and file
name.

I'm not sure why there is an extra space between 'file'
and 'name', or if that even has anything to do with the
problem, but it is there.

Have you tried running chkdsk /f and rebooting?

Windows XP Home OS, Cannot print color I know this

sounds stupid. However I have tried different printers
that work on other motherboards. Cartriages are new.
