Cannot delete accounts

I am trying to delete some accounts but everytime i go to do this the egg
timer stays on and then sticks. I t is as though the page freezes, then the
message comes up END NOW. MSHTA.EXE
 
What program and operating system version are you using.
More information please on what type of accounts you are
taking about..
