Cannot delete a file

I have several files which I am unable to delete. The
error message I am receiving is : Unable to Delete File
or Folder" and specifically I receive an error message
that states that the "filename or extension is too long".

This is creating a huge headache....any suggestions??

Erasing a entree from the registry does not delete files, and that is what
