It all started when My PC 'was acting funny but I don't know why

so I attempted to reinstall WinX
But right smack dab in the middle of it, it smashed u
on some dll file that was corrupt. (excuse me while I kiss the sky).

I had no way out (or in for that matter) other than to call Dell suppor
to instruct me on doing a New WinXP Install which formats the C drive (rut ro)

No problemo I said, I'm Cool... I have all my data on another drive.
Just my million and one installed apps are on the C: (I am very cool)

So after the reformat and 75 days of reinstalling all my tons of cool stuff
everything is LOOK-IN' good (Including life)

Well, almost everything was LOOK-IN' good.
During the install, one little %#*&% thing went wrong.
I lost my access key (key? what key?) to decrypt my encrypted files

It's amazing how one learns so much about something(but not enough) AFTER it hits the fan

So I tried everything from new certificates to new policies to the stiffest martini I can pour! (chilled straight up 3 olives
But Still nothing!, nada, zilch, empty..

SO, with all that said,
CAN ANYONE OUT THERE PLEASE HELP ME? ANYONE?
I'll be your friend for life and then some..

I'm closing with my sincerest Thank You..
SL

Unfortunately without the keys your data is most likely gone forever:

Without the original keys the files are not recoverable.
