When making a copy of my entire laptop USB enclosure (30 GB's on a 60GB
drive). I get the error "Cannot create or replace System Volume
Information: Access is Denied" It then goes on to tell me "Make sure
the disk is not full or write-protected and make sure that the file is
not currently in use"

I'm on a win XP Home system and I am the admin. I have tried defragging
it, and I have run disk check and fixed all the errors. I need to make
a copy of the data on the drive>

Can anyone help me?

While Windows is running, It has control of the SVI.
If you wish to Image your drive you should use a program like
Acronis True Image, or Ghost.
They can solve that problem for you.
