Cannot create limited user account - lockup

I am trying to create a new user account with limited access. It sets up fine, but whenever I try to log in to that limited account, all I get is the dekstop (background image). There is no Start Menu, no taskbar, nothing. I have to Ctrl-Alt-Del then select 'Log off user' to get out of it, and even then, it sometimes locks up with a black screen, requiring a reboot
I can create other Admin accounts just fine. For some reason though, it fails to create a limited account

Any ideas? This is driving me nuts. I have all XP updates installed

Thanks

Hey Kev, I am dealing with the same issue, and I have found another couple of guys looking for answers to. I wonder if Microsoft knows about this problem. Sounds like another hotfix for Xp
