Cannot create ERD

After creating an ERD I've tried to reboot to it and get error NTLDR is
missing.
I have tried to create this several times with the same error.
It seems system file are not being copied to the floppy.
Any thoughts on this problem?

Why bother with an ERD? Simply boot the machine with your
Win2000 installation CD - it gives you full ERD facilities!

I have the same prob - but no 2000 disc. Did not come with system; and now I cannot boot due to sytem/config file missing or corrupt.

I've tried recovery console; ultimate bootcd, chkdsk,, etc. I have a valid
windows COA - they just did not ship it with the 200 disc.
what to do??
