Cannot Create Drive Cache

When I am tryin to upgrade my computer from ME to XP home,
during the installation a error message comes up
saying, "Cannot Create Driver Cache"

How do I fix this so i can upgrade my computer???

Sounds like the system isn't properly prepared for an upgrade, follow the
