Clueless in Seattle
I'm trying to copy a large number of files from a folder on one
computer to a folder on a second computer I have connected to the
first one in a peer-to-peer network.
Here's how I tried to do it:
In the source folder I clicked Edit>Select All>Copy to Folder... and
then selected the folder on the destination machine.
But when I clicked "OK" I got this error message:
Error Copying File or Folder
---------------------------------------
(X) Cannot copy file: Cannot read from the source file or disk.
So I tried copying just a single file between the same folders, and
that worked just fine.
So, I suspect that I may have one or more problem files in the source
folder. But the error message doesn't tell me which file (or files)
is the problem.
I certainly don't want to have to manually copy each one of the
hundreds of files manually one at a time.
How may I determine the origin of this error?

that i.d. and am not sure how to get it back)
