I cannot connect to Amazon.Com / Mapquest.com. I used to be able to connect
to them. I can connect at work and at home (here) with a laptop through the
same router. I have flushed the DNS list, I have checked in
C:\Windows\Drivers\ and cannot see any file named HOSTS and I have my file
settings set to SHOW ALL HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS. I have checked all
settings in IE and selected 'Return to Default" for everything to no avail.
This is ridiculous :) I really do like going to Amazon when I need to and
find myself using a VPN to my work computer to do so --- any help would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks ---

What exactly happens when you try to go to
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/subst/home/home.html/103-5262810-9675030
or
http://www.mapquest.com/
The hosts file is usually located at C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
Not C:\WINDOWS\drivers
