They should instruct you what ports to use, but be aware that your ISP may
not permit you to send mail using other servers. For example AT&T DSL
customers by default cannot connect to a server on port 25 (the default SMTP
port) unless that server is AT&T's server (though it is possible to contact
them and have this filter disabled for your connection).
Here are the instructions for Outlook 2002 and 2003:

It is a paid account.
So the Yahoo help files should have an answer?

Is this a paid account? If not, you cannot use Outlook with the free
Yahoo! mail.
For assistance see the Yahoo! Mail help files on their site.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.
After furious head scratching, Dana Townley asked:
| I am brand new to this. I am trying to add my Yahoo e-mail account to
| Outlook, and so far everything is fine except when I ran a test it
| said that there was no response from the server and that there could
| be a problem with the SSL and port numbers.
|
| I have no clue what that means or how to fix it. If anyone can help
| that would be awesome.
