cannot connect to other system.

hi every1 in the group,
We have 2 systems in my home
running on WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL.How can i connect both
the systems with simple techniques.We just wanted to use
internet on both the systems at the same time and we have
only one internet dial-up connection.Also how can we
access files from one computer to another.
