I can't connect to other computers on my home network
after I installed WinXP. I can ping the other computer
by IP address or by name, but it just doesn't show up
when I use the search function in "My Network Places". I
also can't find the "Entire Network" icon in "My Network
Places". It seems that I am not logged on to the
network, but I can't confirm that.

I'm using WinXP Pro with 3Com Gigabit network. The
computer I'm trying to connect to is running Win98.
TCP/IP is installed on both systems.
