Hi all.

I have a small 2 machine home network that connects via dial-up. THe host machine is a P3 400 with Win 2K Professional. The client is a new P4 2400 with Win XP Home edition.

I have the network set up via a D-Link DI-604 router. The file and print sharing is working fine. But I would like the client machine to connect to the internet via the host machine's dial-up connection.

I have tried following the help files for hours and hours, but I cannot get it to work. Can someone help me through this?

My email is (e-mail address removed)

Tks,

MIke

From the machine that connects to the internet, enable the internet sharing
on it's dial-upconnection.
Go to Control Panel, Network connections, rightclick the dialupconnection,
click tab Sharing. Check the box "share internetconnection".
Have a look at the Help for Networkconnections.
