I have a Win200 Server (SP4) printerserver over here.
Yesterday, I've tried to install a Kyocera 3800 printer,
but as soon as I undated the drivers to the newest
release, the printspooler crashed.
Now, I have the following problem: The printer itself is
deleted, but there is a share witch I cannot delete! When
I try to open the printerqueue by opening the share,
Windows says:
"Before you can use the
printer '\\printspooler\printer_sc', it must be set up on
your computer. Do you want Windows to set up the printer?"
If I select Yes:
"Could not connect to the printer. You either entered a
printer name that was incorrect or the specified printer
is no longer connected to the server."
I've alreasy looked trough the registry and restarted the
printspooler several times.
Does anyone out there has an idea how I get rid off this
printer???
Thanks in advance,
martin, switzerland
