When I run the Network Setup Wizard, I get the following message:

--------
Cannot complete the Network Setup Wizard

The wizard cannot find your network hardware.
-----------
All my hardware seems to be there and working, I am on the internet, and
I can see some other computers in my LAN, but properties on My Network
Places opens a window labeled Network Connections that is empty. I do
not seem to have a way to look at my adapters, protocols and clients.
I am running Kaspersky AV V.7 and Zone Alarm Pro 7.0.337. I have tried
disabeling both of them, and for that matter the problem started before
I installed ZA. It is a new XP installation, validated. A BFG nForce
650i Ultra motherboard with Nvidia networking.

Any ideas?

Windows XP Pro or Home?

Are you trying to work with the Network Setup Wizard as the XP
"administrator" account or with a "limited" user account?

I am using XP PRO SP2+, and am logged on with administrator access.
When I open Network Connections in Control Panel, I get the same result;
an empty window. I am fairly sure this has something to do with Nvidia
MB drivers, probably network driver. I have tried uninstalling the
Nvidea network adapter and installing a PCI NIC card with no change.

I really need some help here, as I can't change any network properties.
