Hi,
I just visited a friend who had a weird prob with his IE6 under XP Pro.
The browser starts and works just fine, however when trying to close it, we
just hear a messagebeep and there is no way to kill it other than through
taskmanager. When watching the taskmanager process list, the IE process
grabs about all the processing power when idle. ¨That drops down to idle
when opening one of IE's menus.
The problem occors when displaying ANY web page and content.
Any clue what is happening and how to restore IE's 'normal' behaviour when
trying to close it?
TIA
