Cannot click in web page search box

I cannot click in a search box of any web page. Running
windows 2k updates have been applied.

I have the same problem. I do not have a solution but
rather a work around that might help you until a real
solution is found. Try right clicking in the search box,
then from the pick list choose "select all". When I do
this, the cursor appears in the search box. Tab also works
for me. I am running Windows ME with IE 6 with the latest
service pack. I just updated today, didn't fix it.

WOW, I have the same exact problem. I also running ME & IE
6. I wonder if theres a fix tool from microsoft to fix
this?
