Cannot Change Computer Name Vista RC2

I can not change the computer name on Vista RC2. I set the name when I was
installing Vista, but I cannot change it now. I get the following error
message: [The following error occurred attempting to change the computer name
to "newname": Access is denied.]

I am logged in as the Administrator and the system is in a workgroup. Has
anyone attempted to rename the hostname after setting up the PC?
 
Have you tried going to Control Panel/Users and turning OFF user Account
Control? Vista administrators have far lee power than in XP.
 
Yes, I just did it. Not as administrator or anything, just an
administrative user.

Right click on My Computer and select properties. Lower Right "Change
Settings" you should get a "Continue?" message. Then click on "Change" and
it should take if you change it here. You will have to reboot for it to
take effect.

I still cannot do it. Tried on 2 PC's. Still no luck. Which build of Vista
are you running, 5744?

Yes, UAC is disabled. Still no luck. Im on build 5744.

Found the solution today. McAfee 8.5i VirusScan Beta IV blocks the ability to
change the computer name on Vista (RC1 and RC2). After uninstalling McAfee
the computer name was changed. This may be by design or may be a bug. Anyways
it was McAfee that was causing the issue.
