Using windows xp home edition - media player. Downloaded songs from limewire,
tried to burn cds. Get error message "media player encountered on unknown
error. This can occur when another program or operating system component
encounters a problem but does not communicate the nature of the problem to
the Player." (code CODD11CD) When I checked the properties of the cd-rw(
drive E), It displays that I have no free disk space. When I checked device
manager it says that the device is working properly. I have tried to
uninstall the driver and update to new driver but there isn't one available.
Don't know what to look for to fix this. Please help.

I believe that the burner included with Windows Media Player is not all
that good. I will direct you to some links that may help you solve the
problems.

If that one doesn't help you, try this one

Download the plugin (Nero Fast Burn Plug-in). It will however, NOT let
you burn music you gotten from pay sites like Napster or whatnot.

IMHO, I would recommend you get a better software for all your burning
needs. For example, try Roxios Easy CD creator or Nero Burning ROM (my
favorite). Good luck with it
