Cannot burn CDs

I am very frustrated that my CD burner constantly kicks
out the CD after a partial burn. I have a new drive now
and it does the same thing, so I think this is an
OS/driver problem. All burning SW (EasyCD, Nero, etc)
has the same problem and both drives act the same
way...start to write and then fail and fail to close the
session. Any ideas? I am getting tired of this as this
has dragged on for months.

I have a burn log from Nero if anyone can dive in and
read it.

You may be trying to burn the CD at too high of a rate. Slow it down to 2X
and try that. Then 4X, ect.
Make sure the source file (file burning from) is located on your hard drive,
not on internet or another CD.
