I have been getting error 4261 for a while when burning through iTunes, to
the tune of about 60 coasters. I contacted Dell (thinking it was my computer,
which is only 4 months old) and they had me uninstall and reinstall my
drives, and reinstall some third party software. My drives are fine. I can
burn most DVD's and I can write data, it is audio I am having a problem with.
I have tried to burn using Roxio, Windows Media Player, Real Audio Player,
Musicmatch Jukebox, iTunes, and Nero. I cannot get a CD to burn (through any
program) for the life of me. It gets partially through it and kaput, end of
music. I am so frustrated. I am about out of options, has anyone heard
anything new.
