Cannot attach documents

Hi All,

I am sick and tired of Vista already, hope they work the bugs out soon.Anybody know I how I can attach Office 2003 files- excel, word etc without having to buy the '07 version.
 
There is no problem attaching files to messages in WinMail.

it cannot attach a file that is open with Office. you need to close down office to release the files.
