I will start with the basics: I have a Windows 2000 server and a
number of win2000 PC as network clients. I created an OU with the
user in it. I created a sample GP where I configured a "run" menu not
to appear on the client PC when such user is logged on. Strange thing
is that I cannot apply the policy throughout a domain at all! The
"run" is still sitting in the start menu. When I modified a domain OU
and created a GP there, the policy only worked on the server, and NOT
throughout the network. Please help.
Additionally: While looking for the information on the problem and
saw people discussing this issue with RealVNC or WinVNC being the
possible cause for the problem. However, I have not seen anyone
suggest a resolution. I need to mention that I have RealVNC installed
on the server as well as the server edition of the Vexira Antivirus.
Thank you everybody for your attention!
