cannot add second DC to win2k domain

I run DCPROMO and receive this error.
"The replication operation failed because of a schema
mismatch between the servers involed."
Boths servers are running 2k sp4. The dc gets no errors
running dcdiag.
Here's some of the dcpromo.log file.....

Make sure the computer name of the server you try to Promote doesn't exist
in the directory, or rests of it.

I reinstalled win2k..renamed the server and I still
receive the same error...I'm guessing something is wrong
on the DC. What now?
