Cannot add records to a table in datasheet view

Hi, I have created an ADP against a SQL Database. When I
open a table in Access in Datasheet view the ability to
add records no longer exists. The New record Buttons are
greyed out.

I am using Win 2003, Office 2003, SQL 2000 sp3.

Any assistance would be greatly accepted.

Does that table has primary key and/or at least one index created in it?

Do you have a primary key or unique index defined on the table?

I banged my head against that, too, (for a day) before I
