cannot add printer

I am unable to add a printer. I did have two installed,
one local and one on the network. While someone was
printing to my local printer my PC froze. I rebooted to
find that there were no installed printers. When I click
on "add printer" I get the message that there is a
shortage of ressources etc... Can anybody help me out
please.

How much PC memory do you have? If you have less try
adding some more. Hope this helps.

I installed an OKIDATA C5100n, color Laser printer and
the exact same thing, same message happened to me.
OKIDATA says, the printer doesn't compatible with AD
which I have hard time beleiving that.

ANy help, any solution, please let me know as well.

I think it's a permissions issue
