I have Front Page 2003 installed on my desktop and laptop computers. Both
installs are properly activated. I created a web site on the laptop and
published it to the internet and maintain it without any problems from the
laptop. I copied the site to my desktop via my home wireless network and
verified that all files were trasfered. When I attempt to access the remote
site to publish page changes from the desktop computer, I get a message box
that informs me the site does not exist, it cannot be opened, it may not have
Front Page Extensions, etc., etc,. How can I resolve this issue? What am I
doing wrong or not doing that I should be?

How did you "copy" the site??

The best thing would have been to "Publish" the site from one machine to the
other.

Steve - Thanks for the reply. I copied the site from my laptop to the
desktop using the "copy to" feature from "My Documents". Being new to Front
Page, I am not familiar with "publishing" from one computer to another via
the wireless network connection.

Update. I have successfully "Published" the site from my laptop to the
desktop but it did not solve the problem. I still cannot access the remote
site and the same message continues to appear each time I attempt to connect.

Opening your remote site from a second machine has nothing to do w/ what you copied

First of all you should not be copying or publish from one machine to the other
- you should be publishing from the remote online site to the other machine
(or the sites w/ never be in sync)

On your second machine check any firewall / av settings preventing you from opening the site in FP

Start w/ File Open Site and entering your online site URL as http://www.yoursitename.com/
Or browse to the site in IE and use File Edit w/ FP
- then publish it to your new machine from there

Thank you Stefan, I'll give that publishing suggestion a try. I have already
checked that the firewall is off and I did not see anything in Norton Anti
Virus that appeared to pose a problem.
