For some reason I cannot access two web pages from my home
PC running Windows ME and Internet Exploer 6.0. The first
web page is "www.yahoo.com" - Cannot figure this out? I
get an error message from some sort of "alternative search
engine" called "Quick!" - it says "sorry we could not
find "www.yahoo.com". The other web page I cannot access
is "www.webcourses.niu.edu." I get the same error message.

I have no problems accessing these web pages from my work
PC - running Windows 2000 and IE 6.0.

I have downloaded all of the latest windows updates from
Microsoft.com and have "uninstalled" and re-installed
Internet Explorer.

My only thought is that it has something to do with my
internet service provider. My ISP is a small "wireless"
broadband company called T6 Wireless - www.t6wireless.com.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

I had similar prob. In your browser, go to,tools,
internet options, connections, LAN settings, advanced, in
the exceptions box, type: http://www.yahoo.com. This
worked for me on a few sites I was having problems with.
you can do this for ea. site. Hope it helps.
