Hi Nabil
Did you by chance install and then uninstall IE Beta 2? If so, then that is
a whole different set of problems to sort out. All IE7 Beta 2 Public
Preview testers are asked to post their comments, questions and problems
regarding IE7 to the following newsgroup. The folks there specialize in
helping you with problems such as yours and others specific to the Beta 2
program, and the IE7 Beta team is also assisting in this group and anxious
to hear of your experience and comments. Even if someone here decides to
provide some assistance, *please* post your question, comment and/or
problems to this newsgroup for the benefit of the IE7 Beta team and other
readers there;

If not, then try the following and see if it helps:
Disable the McAfee ActiveX controls Applet filters in the Internet Filter
window when you select Customize your VShield settings
"Your current security settings prohibit running Active X controls on this
page. As a result pages may not display correctly."

It is also possible that your system is infected by a hijacker and/or
malware on your system. In addition to updating and running your AV,
download, install and run the programs below in Safe Mode with Hidden Files
enabled. This will remove the nasty you have and any others it may have
let in the back door. Some malware can replicate itself repeatedly if not
removed properly, so even if you have run some of the programs listed here,
it is important that you run them again according to the information below
so that Windows is not operating to hide any files 'in use' Follow all
instructions carefully:
First, Clear the TIF's and empty the recycle bin:
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm
Also.empty your Recycle bin.
Then do the following:
CAUTION>>>> Backup all documents and files before removing any spyware!!

Note: When you run ewido the first time, you will get a warning:
"Database could not be found!". Click OK.
(this will be resolved in the next step)
From the main ewido screen, click on Update (left menu)
See Screenshot:

After the update finishes (bottom status bar displays "Update successful")
