A shared folder has been configured in one of the
workstations to allow for unlimited users. Permissions
were granted to specific users. There can be, at most, 14
computers accessing the shared folder at the same time.
Users keep getting the error message: "No more connections
can be made to this computer at this time, as there are
already as many connections as this computer can accept."
This error sometimes occur even when there are less than
10 computers accessing the shared resource. Sometimes
users are disconnected from the shared folders in the
middle of their tasks. The shared folder mainly contains
Word, Excel, PowerPoint files.

Thank you,Doug. That page you directed is a big help and I
have gone on to look at information in the other linked
pages.

Reply for Pegasus: Thanks for the advice. We are using
Windows 2000 Server but are implementing this shared
resource for a specific purpose.
