Cannot access shared folder on PC running XPHome

Pc connected to network. Can access other pc's and can be seen in network neighbourhood from other pcs'. However when I try and access a particular folder which I have set up as shareable, i get "Network path not found
Any suggestions?
 
Hi,

The PC you are trying to connect to:

- Can you ping it (open DOS and type PING <computername>) ?

- Open DOS and type 'NET VIEW \\<computername>'

You must be able to see (i.e. ping or net view) the target
machine.
