Cannot access Outlook

I am unable to access my e-mail account via MS Outlook.
When I try, I get a message saying "Your MS Exchange
Server is unavailable." I am directly connected to the
Internet via a cable modem and have no problems accessing
the Internet Explorer. Anyone have any ideas as to how I
can correct this problem?
 
What version of Outlook are you using?

When you set up your E-mail Account you probably
selected MICROSOFT EXCHANGE SERVER for
your connection. Perhaps you wanted something like
POP3 or HTTP...

Try opening your CONTROL PANEL
Select the MAIL APPLET

You should be able to change your profile here.
